Public Fire / Life Safety Education
Community Fire Education is one of the most vital areas in the fire service. Through education and awareness, individuals learn to recognize fire hazards and correct them. The Henderson Fire Department strives to share the basics of fire prevention with citizens in order to prevent tragic incidents caused by fire. We work to achieve this goal by offering fire and life safety programs and resources for children, adults, seniors, teachers, and the general public.
All programs and community events are available upon request. Programs include: Fire Extinguisher Training, Home Inspections, Smoke Alarm / Battery Replacement, Fire Station Tours, Fire Safety Presentations, Community Events, and Car Seat Safety Checks.
For all programs, and community events or questions please contact: Lee Edmonds/Fire & Life Safety Educator at 252 430-1877.
